Asics GEL Nimbus 11 (2E) Width Shoes: The latest model of this flagship cushioning shoe ranks as the most performance-oriented version yet. The GEL-Nimbus 11 provides excellent comfort and stability for both neutral and under-pronators. The shoes reduced weight new Asymmetrical Lacing Design and Personal Heel fit all work to ensure a glove-like fit. The GEL-Nimbus 11 also features a new Solyte midsole material that offers great bounce-back for a more responsive road feel. ASICS Design Philosophy. Employs linked componentry that enhances natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. Provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler drier healthier environment. An anatomically correct lacing environment that reduces potential for irritation and provides improved comfort and fit. A top layer of injected Solyte provides a cushioned platform feel in the forefoot. Stretch material strategically placed on the upper helps to reduce buckling and the potential for irritation.
