Could A Man Run At 40 Miles Per Hour?
I know it sounds like some kind of odd question you might ask your mates in the pub after a couple of pints but they have actually started to look into not just the ‘could’ but the actual how.
On our daily traunch around the internet we surfed across this article from Wired.com which basically explores the potential for a man to run at 40 miles per hour.
I don’t know what this means for the overall state of running (particularly sprinting) but at a time when it seems to be coming towards a plateau, this could see world records smashed by more than just a few fractions of seconds.
